"Mermaid Treasure" began with a wool and nylon felt that was then shaped with wire to resemble coral. Silk woven over wire, beads and a partially hidden abalone shell button combine to create this land-locked artist's interpretation of what a mermaid must surely find to be treasure. Pin measures approximately 1.5" x 2.5" with a 1" locking pin back.
