Silk Painting Workshop

In this workshop, students will design and paint an 8" x 54" silk scarf using the Serti (French for fence) method of applying dye.  We'll create a one-of-a-kind colorful wearable art piece.  Instructor Kay McCoy will help each student create a design even if you don't feel you have design or drawing skills.  A variety of resources for designs will be discussed.  Students should wear old clothes or an apron.  If you have an inspiration photo or an idea, bring it along.  Cost per student for this day-long workshop is $70.
