Trees of the Field Textural Tapestry

Sally's love for her roots combine with her love for the aspens of Finland in this Textural Tapestry entitled "For the Beauty of the Earth"
approximately 7" wide and 36" long.

Completely handwoven from ends from The Shepherd's Mill, the textures and colors call the viewer into the quiet peace of the aspens.  With roots well developed, these 3 trees stand in testimony to the beauty of God's creation as the fluff of a summer sky beckons us to rest.  Repurposing a slab of downed lumber and some aged door handles, Sally hints at her passion for her ancestry with a unique combination of textures.
